Nikitas Koutoupes is a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, and joined the firm in 2001. He focuses on Insight’s investment activities in education and marketing automation, and is one of the firm’s experts in recurring revenue business models. He currently works with Academic Partnerships, Campaign Monitor, CarTrawler, Ensighten, eVestment, GenArts, Illuminate Education, FilmTrack, Frontline Technologies, SpaceTime Games, Syncsort, Whitney International and Zumba Fitness. Nikitas’ prior investments at Insight include Capella University (IPO, NASDAQ: CPLA), Exact Target (IPO, NYSE: ET, acquired by Salesforce), Football Fanatics (acquired by GSI Commerce, then eBay), Greenfield Online (IPO, acquired by Microsoft), Platespin (acquired by Novell), and Realink (acquired by Zaio Corp). He was named to the AlwaysOn Venture Capital 100 in 2012.
Previously, Nikitas co-managed Insight Onsite, the firm’s team of dedicated operations and strategy experts. Prior to Insight, Nikitas co-founded and was the chief financial officer of CTSpace, a SaaS company which became part of Insight’s portfolio and was subsequently acquired by the Sword Group. He was previously with McKinsey & Company, where he worked on strategy, turnaround, M&A and corporate finance engagements across a variety of industries.
Nikitas received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Nikitas is fluent in Greek and speaks conversational French.

Jeff Horing has been a co-founder and managing director at Insight Venture Partners since 1995. Under his leadership, Insight has become a premier venture capital and private equity firm with over $13 billion in committed capital for growth investments in software and internet businesses. Jeff’s areas of focus include data, analytics, mobile, infrastructure and SaaS software in Europe and North America.
Jeff has invested in more than 30 companies, notably AirWatch (acquired by VMware), Greenfield Online (IPO, later acquired by Microsoft), Shutterstock (IPO), Teamviewer (acquired by Permira) and WIX (IPO Nasdaq: WIX).
Prior to founding Insight, Jeff worked at Warburg Pincus and Goldman Sachs. Jeff graduated from M.I.T. and the University of Pennsylvania.

Rachel GellerManaging Director

Rachel Geller joined Insight in 2008 and is a principal on the Insight Onsite team. She leads engagements with portfolio company executives, assisting with accelerating growth strategy, optimizing pricing and operational support, including customer analytics, marketing and M&A. She has evaluated more than fifteen M&A transactions for Insight’s portfolio companies, helping them grow through acquisition.
Rachel was a key member of the teams that worked with HealthcareSource (acquired by Francisco Partners) and HauteLook (acquired by Nordstrom). She currently works closely with multiple software companies, with a focus on SaaS, to drive growth and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Insight, Rachel worked as an internal strategy consultant in American Express’ strategic planning group, where she evaluated business strategy and growth opportunities across all areas of the company. Her strategy work included developing new business concepts, evaluating partnership opportunities, customer segmentation and technology planning. She was also a marketer in the co-branded consumer credit card division, responsible for new product and concept development, customer research and launch planning.
Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in economics. She is an avid traveler and resides in Chicago.

Jonathan Rosenbaum is an associate at Insight Venture Partners and joined the investment team in 2014. He focuses on vertical and horizontal application software, and is responsible for executing transactions and assisting in portfolio management post-close. In addition to Conga, he works actively with Anaqua, Frontline Education, Illuminate Education, Whale Rock, Showpad and CloudCraze.
Prior to Insight, Jon worked at the Boston Consulting Group and Johnson & Johnson.
Jon studied at the University of Pennsylvania in the Jerome Fisher M&T Program, where he earned degrees from Wharton and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
