There is so much to learn at Dreamforce, it is nothing short of amazing, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. We’re talking about an event so big that it’s a city within a city, where streets are closed off and every single hotel room in the area is booked up months ahead of time.

If you don’t have some clarity and direction, it’s easy to get sidetracked, and find yourself after the event feeling like you didn’t accomplish what you wanted to. And your feet will probably hurt anyway. But this is an amazing opportunity to learn a ton. You’ll want to do everything you can to make the very most of it.

Have a plan

Agenda: So, the best approach is to have a plan in mind for what you want to learn and to craft your agenda now. Of course, Salesforce is on to the need to do this, and there’s an Agenda Builder to make it easier. Even better, there’s now a Salesforce Events app that can help you keep track of your agenda while you’re on the move, provide maps, even propose a “Quest,” which is a 5-stop journey based on your role. You can get the Salesforce Events App on the App Store or on Google Play.

While you’re planning your route, be sure include some of Conga’s sessions, like:

Expo: You should also plan to visit the booths that are most interesting to you in the Expo. Don’t forget a stop by Conga’s Platinum booth, #1412 in the Customer Success Expo.

Practical Considerations

  • Transport time. While you are planning your agenda, be sure to look at a map and include plenty of time in between sessions to move around, as venues are spread across a large area and there will be lots of people between where you are and where you want to go.

  • Take care of yourself. Find any opportunity you have to eat, hydrate, and sit down. Dreamforce is non-stop, and you need to be sure you pay attention to the basics so that you can learn the most possible.

  • Be sure to pack the essentials. These are some long, packed days. Don’t forget comfortable shoes (even some insoles for extra support), business cards, and a charger for your phone.

Quote-to-Cash Central at the Thirsty Bear Brewery

In between your sessions and booth visits, you can get even more out of Dreamforce by visiting us at Quote-to-Cash Central at the Thirsty Bear, where we’ll be setting up shop with our friends from Salesforce CPQ and Simplus. (Be sure you stop by Conga’s booth #1412 in the Customer Success Expo to pick up your wristband for entry first.)

The Thirsty Bear is just one block from Moscone, at 661 Howard Street. You’ll be able to get a drink, eat something, charge your phone, and sit down for a while. Even better, you can get a massage! Think how relaxed you’ll feel in spite of all the craziness.

And that’s not all. At Quote-to-Cash Central at the Thirsty Bear, you can also:

  • Meet with us: Set up a time to meet and talk over how Conga’s solutions can optimize your CRM processes to help solve your business challenges.

  • Solution Stations:  Meet one-on-one with one of our technical experts for an in-depth consultation. You can get all of your questions answered, build out a new use case, or troubleshoot an existing one.

  • Attend CongaU Peaks: Accelerate your knowledge of Conga’s solution with an in-depth, 45-minute Conga University Peaks session.

Relax and recharge: While you’re getting an in-depth look at how to hone your quote-to-cash processes, you can relax and recharge. Remember, we’ll have massages available. Trust us, it’ll be worth the trip.

Don’t forget the silent disco…

And, once you’ve recharged and had a chance to learn a whole lot at Quote-to-Cash Central, you’ll want to attend our silent disco on Monday night. Register here for the coolest party at Dreamforce.
