If you don’t know by now, Conga Connect, our first ever user event, is taking place March 6th-9th in Orlando. That’s just around the corner, but there’s still time to join us for an event you won’t want to miss.

In our previous posts, we’ve described all of the value Connect will provide attendees. But there are many attractions in Orlando beyond the personal and professional development opportunities you’ll find at the event.

Here are some of the things you can do there during your visit.

What to do with your evening

Places to eat:

If none of those are what you are looking for, you should be able to find it on Zagat’s list of Orlando’s Best Restaurants.

Nightlife:

Wall Street Plaza – Known as one of the best bars in Downtown Orlando with 7 venues in 1 location.  You’ll find all the usual cocktails and beers here plus lots of unique beverages.

The Courtesy Bar – Orlando’s best craft cocktail lounge, serving craft cocktails with handcrafted drinks, craft beers and wines, all set in amazingly cool décor.

The Imperial Wine Bar – Hands down best wine bar that’s cool beyond words. Includes a full menu of delicious pairings and set inside an imported home furnishings showcase – where everything’s for sale.

Independent Bar – The best Indie/Dance club around, with great music and plenty of fun.

Things to do in town

Disney, of course. Be sure to stay until 9PM to catch the fireworks. Afterward, head over to Disney Springs for dinner and drinks.

Madame Tussaud’s – Take pics with your favorite celebrities (in wax form of course).

I-Drive – In the same area as the Orlando Eye (see next section), you’ll find numerous restaurants and bars as you walk down to Pointe Orlando.

Catch a Broadway play at the Dr. Phillips Center.

Other things see in and around Orlando:

For the nature lovers: The Manatee Refugee at Blue Springs State Park. You can canoe and get up-close with the manatees.

For the gator watchers: Gatorland showcases thousands of alligators and crocodiles. There’s also a free-flight aviary, petting zoo, one of a kind animal shows, natural alligator breeding marsh, and zip line.

For the water lovers: The Beach is a must if you’ve never been to FL. Check out Cocao Beach, Orlando’s closest, and have a cocktail at Coconuts on the Beach or fish from the pier.

For the best views: Orlando is nicknamed “The City Beautiful” and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola, which provides breathtaking views of the city.

For the second best views of the city: Orlando Eye – the hottest new venue for beautiful views of the city.

For art lovers: Check out Orlando Museum of Art. Orlando is also known for its street art, so keep your eyes open for these amazing murals in the city.

For space lovers: The Kennedy Space Center is a major attraction just a short drive from Orlando.

There’s no shortage of things to do, once you get here. It’s not too late to register for Conga Connect, to learn more about Conga and enjoy a trip to a great city with so many great things to do and see.
