Of the many benefits to cloud-based software, the ability to quickly and consistently roll out updates, improvements, and new features has to be near the top of the list. It also puts the latest and greatest capabilities into your hands as soon as they’re ready, so you can work faster, be more productive, and delight your customers in more ways.
We’re excited to announce the 2018 Conga Summer Release!
The primary focus of this release is increased usability and ease of setup. We’re aiming to make life easier for everyone who touches a Conga product, whether you’re an admin working with Conga through implementation or you use the technology in your daily workflow.
Read on for the highlights of this release, and be sure to join our webinar on June 27 for a review of the latest enhancements, including live demos. For a more detailed look at all of the updates, read the release notes.
Conga Composer Now Features a Solution Migration Utility
The utility allows admins and SI partners to easily migrate solutions from one Salesforce org to another. This will greatly reduce manual work and accelerate the delivery of solutions across development environments, testing environments, and production instances. Composer now offers the option for product setup in native French and German languages. This update makes it easier for companies and users to realize the benefits of this core Conga product.
As a friendly reminder, Composer 7 will be discontinued on September 30, 2018. Please click here to view the instructions for migrating to Composer 8.
Conga Contracts Gains Speed
Administrators can now automatically add users onto the eSignature package based on role or responsibility. Now, the people who typically do the signing, such as the opportunity’s sales rep, can always be added as a signer to make the eSignature process faster. Conga Contracts is also receiving a number of improvements to increase the application’s speed by up to 68 percent when clicking through a Contract Flow.
Conga Contracts for Salesforce Adds Word Comments and New Clause Features
Word comments are now shown directly within the interface to accelerate negotiations. New enhancements allow legal admins to define alternate clauses for standard language and control how users interact and negotiate with the clause playbook. New controls have also been added to the document generation process to allow for tracking of sub-clauses as their own entities. And, Conga Sign is now integrated so contracts can be signed with a single click.
Conga Sign Adds New Branding Options and Ease-of-Use Features
Conga Sign now features the ability to add company logos to personalize your email as well as new ways to capture information. Custom tags are available to gather information beyond just the standard tags, and a new “sign on glass” feature allows signers to use their own signatures.
Octiv Gets a Streamlined User Interface
New updates to the document properties panel puts the most important information at the forefront. A new Salesforce managed package allows customers to stay up-to-date on Conga’s Salesforce integration, including “template name” as a related list and faster time-to-value on installations.
Process Composer (Orchestrate) Adds Many New Usability Features
Newly-integrated Conga Composer functionally allows steps to be added to workflows automatically, such as generating a document or sending emails using a Composer template. Conga Contracts for Salesforce now allows workflows to be defined on the standard object, allows steps to be added into a workflow during a contract record creation, and enables approvals/rejections to be added to step completion. We’ve made additional interface improvements to the configuration assistant that have more compatibility with custom objects and will speed up time-to-value.
All of these great updates and more are now available across the Conga suite of products to improve usability and ease of setup. If you’d like a closer look at the new enhancements, join our webinar on June 27 for reviews and live demos. Enjoy!
