If you’re a Salesforce customer or prospect, you are probably aware that Dreamforce, the world’s largest yearly software conference, recently took place in San Francisco, with another record attendance of over 150,000 delegates.

If you’re an APAC customer or prospect, and were lucky enough to attend, then you would have had an awesome week and no doubt have some stories to tell from what has been dubbed “the Superbowl of software conferences.” If you missed Dreamforce, however, the good news is that you’ve got a chance to catch up on what you missed at the Salesforce Advantage Tour.

The tour comprises of 5 events:

  • Sydney – Oct 22
  • Singapore – Nov 3
  • Melbourne – Nov 10
  • Auckland – Nov 13
  • Mumbai – Nov 17

I would encourage everyone to get along and attend an event if the tour is swinging by your local area. Not convinced? Let me tell you why you should attend.

You’ll be getting all of the best bits of Dreamforce, from the major announcements, to the latest and greatest cloud technology Salesforce has to offer, in a more intimate, local environment. Dreamforce is fantastic, but it’s a 3 day event, San Fran is bursting at the seams, and it’s impossible to stay on top of everything that’s going on. With just under 2,000 sessions/keynotes in 3 days, you really have pick and choose what you see and do. The Advantage events are one day (half day for all events except for Sydney, which is a full day), the agenda is streamlined, and you’ll be able to see and do everything you want, all in one place.

The event is tailored to suit your requirements. You’ve got the option of sitting in on short presentations and demonstrations in the customer theatre, speaking directly with Salesforce employees about anything and everything at the Collaboration Corners, or rolling your sleeves up and getting amongst it at one of the Hands on Workshops.

Not only that, the theatre, Collaboration Corners and Hands On Workshops are role specific, tailored to one of the following 6 streams:

  • Sales & Business Leaders
  • Customer Experience Professionals
  • Awesome Admins
  • Developers and IT Professionals
  • Small and Medium Business Leaders
  • Financial Services, Retail and Government Professionals

The real highlight though, in my very biased opinion, is the Cloud Expo. Here, you can meet and chat with vendors who all have amazing add-on services and/or products, which can and will supercharge your Salesforce instance.
